The Sydney Dog Lovers Show is going over and above this year to fetch new attractions and bring back old-time-favourites so Dog lovers can experience the pure joy of Dogs!

We’re sending out our warmest thoughts wherever you are and hope that you and your best friends are doing OK despite the challenges many of us are facing throughout Australia.

​

We were confident that rescheduling our Sydney Dog Lovers Show to mid-September would provide enough time for the situation to subside. But sadly it’s only getting worse and unlikely that the NSW State government will allow large indoor events like ours to run in Sydney this year.

​

So it’s devastating to announce that we have no other choice but to reschedule the show to next year and our new dates will be Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th August at the Sydney Showground.

​

It was an extremely difficult decision to make, but ultimately the health and safety of everyone involved and limiting the potential threat of spreading the virus was the most important consideration.

​

As the leading dog-dedicated festival in Sydney, we are deeply aware of the important role we play in showcasing this wonderful industry, educating dog owners and the free marketing opportunities we provide for breed clubs, adoption groups and charities.

​

The re-scheduling also allows us to wait for a period where there is more economic stability, lockdowns are no longer the default of governments and a much larger percentage of the population has been vaccinated – then the event will have a clear path to success without these constant roadblocks.

​

It also ensures that the Sydney Dog Lovers Show is a truly national offering of pet products and services for our visitors, as these ongoing border closures make it impossible for our interstate Exhibitors to attend.

Our team is grateful for the understanding, kindness and unwavering support everyone has always shown during these times and we promise to reward this support with the most memorable show ever in 2022.
